Be the 100,000th registered member of Ile Sans Fil or the next member to whom this contest is open and you may win the following prize: Honorary Membership in Ile sans fil, one iPod Shuffle which is offered by COOP UQAM, one table d’hôte at one of the Ile sans fil restaurant partner (La Petite Ardoise) and one training at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT).

No purchase is necessary to enter. The contest runs from April 7th at 12h00PM to April 30th at 23h59.

The contest is opened to residents of Quebec aged 14 or over at the time of entry. For participants between the age of 14 and 18, the participant will have to submit to Ile Sans Fil a signed parental authorization.

Ile Sans Fil’s volunteers and sponsors and employees of the hotspot venues where the wireless internet is provided and the persons with whom they are domiciled may not enter the contest.

Registering as a member is free and will automatically lead to a participation to the contest if registration was made in one of the Ile sans fil hotspots.

Ile Sans Fil is not responsible for and will not consider incomplete or incorrect entries, or emails sent but not received by Ile Sans Fil for any reason, as potential contest winners.

Only one entry per registered member will be considered for contest entry. No person may enter the contest more than once using multiple memberships.

In the event that the 100,000th member is not valid (examples: duplicate member, temporary e-mail address used, not a resident of Quebec, abuses the wireless network, not allowed to participate in the contest), Ile Sans Fil reserves the right to choose the next member, until a valid winner is found (100,001th member or more).

By participating in this contest, the winner authorizes the contest organizers to use, if so required, their name, photo, voice and/or image, for advertising purposes without further compensation.

The prize winner must supply Ile Sans Fil with his/her legal name, mailing address, birth date, daytime and nighttime telephone numbers.

The winners of the contest will be determined in Montreal on 15th May, 2009 at twelve o’clock.

Ile Sans Fil shall notice the winners by email.

The winners shall be responsible for claiming and picking up their prize at the location provided by Ile Sans Fil.

The winners of the contest will be contacted at the sender email address used to register as a member of Ile Sans Fil, and the person receiving and replying to the winner announcement email will be considered the winner.

In the event more than one person could be declared winner of the contest, Ile Sans Fil will proceed to a random draw to determine the winner of the contest.

The contest winner may not request substitutions of prize winnings.

If any prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Ile Sans Fil may substitute a prize of like or equal value.

Neither Ile Sans Fil, Ile Sans Fil venue holders or Ile Sans Fil sponsors, nor volunteers of Ile Sans Fil may be held liable for any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of usage of any winners of a prize once possession has been taken of the product by winner.

Claiming of prizes requires an email response to Ile Sans Fil from the winning member within 30 days of being notified of winning at the email address used to register as a member. Failure to respond shall mean that the winner forfeits the prize.

Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
